Today I want to share another tip for fab wedding photos! Every Tuesday I am posting a new tip I am hoping will serve as a good reminder or that may suggest a new way to be sure you have amazing wedding photos.
Today I want to talk about pre wedding attire. My client Rachael did such a great job planning out her pre wedding attire that I wanted to share a few photos from her wedding day. Rachael got each of her sisters and her mom robes from Plum Pretty Sugar. I loved that all of the robes were personalized for each persons style preference, while all of the robes still looked great together. (And it made a super cute gift that I am positive would get used over and over!)
Since there is so much focus put on the actual wedding attire (and rightfully so!) sometimes pre wedding attire can get overlooked, but if your photographer will be present while you are getting ready you will want to be sure this is a detail that won’t be forgotten. Being prepared with pre wedding attire for your bridal party can ensure everyone will look great together and that there will not be anyone wearing any distracting clothing or colors. Let’s be real…while you are in your elegant wedding dress that you spent thousands on, you don’t want someone popping in to button it who is wearing a sports t-shirt. Unfortunately this would result in creating a less elegant putting-on-the-dress photo.
Pre wedding attire is also a great avenue to keep your wedding day style and theme consistent through the color and style of pre wedding attire you choose for yourself and your bridal party, which will make your wedding photo album look great!
Also, another small tip: Although I have seen several adorable tank tops or t-shirts, robes or button-ups do allow the advantage of a bridal party to be confident their hair will still look great after the changing process.
