We had an amazing time in Hawaii!
I am downloading and organizing camera cards (lots and lots and lots of photos!) so in the meantime I wanted to share some of the lovely sights I saw on Oahu!
Some of these photos are from photo shoots that I will be sharing soon and others are just from me being touristy:)
This first one is from Honolulu just after sunset:Brent and I had a couple favorite activities while we were in Hawaii. The first fun activity we discovered was buying fresh local fruit from a stand. They also offered coconut water straight from a coconut. There was an 85 year old woman (no joke, she told us her age) that would take out a (very large) machete and lop off the top of a young coconut. She would then put a straw in the top and hand it to us right in the coconut. We decided the first day that it would be a daily tradition on our trip. After you are done drinking the coconut water you can hand the coconut back to them and they will cut it open so you can eat the coconut on the inside. So yummy!
Here’s the bridesmaids and bride enjoying some coconut water on the wedding day! Here was another favorite location: the backyard of a coffee shop. I wouldn’t necessarily say that Brent and I are coffee people, but when we travel we love to grab coffee and just sit for an hour or so talking and dreaming. Another little wedding preview. This was certainly a lovely sight! And a little sneak peek of tomorrow’s colorful post:
